Bringing Brilliance to Light
What We Do
Helping Every Child Shine Through Early Intervention
Illuminate AP is dedicated to helping children aged 8-16 thrive by focusing on their unique strengths. Our key intervention, the RESET Programme, supports students who face challenges in mainstream education. We reintegrate students into school life by building confidence, social skills, and emotional development, ensuring they are ready to succeed.
Overview
The RESET Programme: Helping Students Reinvent Their School Journey
The RESET Programme is a 12-week intervention designed for students struggling with behaviour, attendance, or engagement in school. Our focus is on five key areas:
The purpose of reintegration is to support students in successfully returning to mainstream or specialist education, helping them adapt to structured learning
environments with confidence.
The programme focuses on providing tailored academic support to help students close learning gaps and achieve their full potential in core subjects like English and Maths.
Developing social skills enables students to build positive relationships, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively with peers and adults.
Emotional development helps students understand and manage
their emotions, build resilience, and develop self-regulation strategies to navigate challenges.
The goal of transition is to prepare students for their next steps in education or life, ensuring a smooth and confident move to new environments or opportunities.
Through a nurturing approach, students will build essential self-management skills, develop
healthy relationships with peers and teachers, and learn how to make better choices. Our
experiential learning approach is designed to prepare students for a successful return to
mainstream education or successfully transition to a specialist setting.
Who We Do It For
Supporting Students Who Need It Most
Our programme is specifically tailored for students who face challenges in mainstream school environments, including difficulty adjusting to the social or academic demands of traditional settings. For students struggling academically, we provide personalised teaching strategies designed to meet their individual learning needs. Additionally, our programmeoffers comprehensive support for students with emotional or social difficulties, helping them
build confidence, resilience, and the skills needed to succeed.
These students may be presenting with:
Challenging behaviours observed in and outside the classroom setting
Difficulties establishing positive relationships with teachers and peers
Struggles managing unstructured periods such as breaks or lunchtimes
Reduced school attendance and low engagement or motivation
Limited impact of current school-based interventions
